We cooked a lovely dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (there is a grocery store within walking distance). There were a few condiments and other things should you need just a bit of something. We also did laundry (hung some outside and some in the bathroom with this neat air heating machine). The shampoo and hand soap is absolutely lovely and worth a mention. There are a couple fun extras like a mini ping pong table and a tiny gaming console. Shin is a lovely and kind host, providing route and sightseeing recommendations. We only wish we had stayed longer!

The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!
