One of the best affordable and feature rich places that we had booked in our Japan trip. Yumi was particularly very helpful and has kept the property in a very spotless manner. The bathrooms although shared had all the amenities including premium toiletries. There's also a shared kitchen if you want to cook your own food and they have stocked limited (included) noodles, coffee and chocolates. The place is hardly 10 mins walk from Sakurajosui station and has direct connectivity to Shinjuku station. There's also a few eateries that stay open till late, plus few Gyudon restaurants that serve 24/7 with 7-eleven and Family Mart nearby. Overall an exceptional property if you want peace of mind and home-like stay.

Absolutely delightful experience staying here and will try to book the same room again next time! Room was very spacious. The twin room was clearly a standard Japanese studio apartment with a lovely small kitchen and big bathroom and shower room. The room was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. I was so grateful they had an iron and ironing board, and they even had 2 umbrellas which was very useful! There was also plenty of storage space in the closet for a few large luggage and plenty of hangers to organize our clothes. The location is also fantastic. Just far away enough from all the noise and traffic of high tourist area, but also extremely convenient in terms of transportation to just about anywhere in Tokyo. Oshiage Station and Tokyo Skytree Station are both only 10 minutes walk away that easily connected us to the rest of Tokyo. Otherwise, there are plenty of convenient bus lines less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you everywhere else.

Not only was the location itself a beautiful little guest house, but the host went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. She was polite and nice, cooked me a delicious breakfast, and even helped me with transportation. It was such a cozy little location that was everything I needed- clean, safe, warm, and homely. The location of this place was great. It's in the quieter part of Tokyo and has access to the Ryogoku train station (10 - 15 minute walk) or bus stop literally a stones throw away to get you to Sky tree or close enough to asakusa. There are also a lot of convenience stores and supermarkets close by which ensures that you are always within reach of food and drinks. The host, Tanaka was superb. Very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful in providing the basic informations about the surrounding area of the hostel. The facilities of the place was fantastic. There was a laundry facility that could be used (washer and dryer). The shower for our rooms were great and they had towels and toiletries provided throughout the stay. They have individual beds in the room and a good amount of space (for the room we booked) which made the stay extremely pleasant. I would definitely recommend this Oyado Kien Ryogoku to anyone who is considering staying in Tokyo as I would most certainly be re-booking with them when i do return to Tokyo.
