A small distance from the main centre, you gain in a tranquil environment. The host picked me up from my bus on arrival. Small gestures such as cold water and a fruit plate was welcomed and driving us into town for dinner was a kind gesture. The cabin was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras such as toothbrush and paste. The bed was large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this home stay for a great experience in Battambang.

The house is on a very quiet street (good sleep) but if you wanna go out its a max. 5 min walk and youre in the middle of action (for Battambang relationships) Very modern, nice bathroom, nice breakfast (fresh fruits as i wished) Had the possibility to meet some friends of Bun…it was a blast!

My mom (64F) and I (26F) stayed two nights. The view from our room faced the sunrise over the rice fields and through our window we could see the mountains! The entire property was exceptionally peaceful and scenic. The location is perfect, we were able to walk to the Batcave within 10 minutes which put us and all the other guest in the perfect position to hike up the mountain. My favorite part was the free bicycle that I could ride to see the countryside. There were plenty of food stands and coffee shops a short walk up the road, but a free breakfast and $5 dinner were provided. You could eat with the host and other guest which gave the homestay a nice community feeling. It was mostly older guests staying and couples but I think it would have been just as nice as a solo traveler too, I felt very safe and the location is really magical! Saro and his family are very welcoming and were always happy to chat and help book tours and transportation!

You can tell they focus on quality rather than profit, making everything from scratch and using ingredients grown themselves or purchased from the local market when in season. The hosts are happy to help you plan things to do in the Battambang area, organize bus travel and if there is a chance they will show you some local life. We had a delicious breakfast at the market, a fun coffee shop experience and heard a lot of interesting stories. We had already booked our bus ticket with VET and they still called the bus company to organize a free pick up from their guesthouse - thank you so much! The service and quality here is something special and we are really glad we chose to stay. Looking forward to returning in the future!
