The hosts went out of their way to care for me, welcoming me with a fresh smoothie and continuing to shower me with fresh fruit and snacks during my stay. Delicious food clearly made with love. The accommodations are clean and comfortable- AC room with fan, en-suite bathroom, mini fridge, etc. the highlight of my stay however was definitely the exceptional service and treatment from the hosts. Highly recommend booking here for a homey stay a stone’s throw from the beautiful Tangalle beach!

At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. So so clean and modern , so spacious and the little kitchenette, perfect for us as we only stayed on day but long term stays would suit that accommodation too. Very nice family and good breakfast

The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

By far the best homestay we have stayed in for the past 2 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, AC rooms and the hospitality of Priya makes it the best! He helped us arrange the safari in Yala, took us bird and crocodile watching in the evening 😊 and picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Priya!
