The cleanliness was beyond expectations, making us feel comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. The hospitality and welcoming nature of the family were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The location is perfect—peaceful and far from the noise of the city, yet offering all the comforts one could ask for. The room was very comfortable, and waking up in what feels like the middle of the jungle was magical. Starting our mornings with coffee while watching monkeys climb trees right in front of us was an unforgettable experience. We were also touched by the family’s gesture of arranging a traditional meal, which was superbly amazing and incredibly tasty—a true highlight of our trip! We also thoroughly enjoyed the guided tours, which were both fun and incredibly helpful. The guides went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and serene getaway.

At the homestay, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Good location, clean room, beautifull garden. The owners are very, very friendly and helpfull. They can take with tuk tuk. Madam Samanthi makes very delicious breakfest, each day different. Sri lankan food is excellent. Strongly recommended.

Lovely hosts, they helped organise transportation for us to and from Pidurangala rock for sunrise as well as a car from their home stay to our next location, Kandy. Our safari was also suggested and arranged for us by our hosts. The little things go a long way. We arrived in a downpour and our hosts very kindly met us both by the cars with umbrellas whilst they helped us with our bags. Breakfast was delicious, too and we were enjoyed having dinner with the hosts on the first evening we arrived. When staying at Yashi’s place, you must visit the Lady Cafe at the end of the road - this was a great recommendation by the host and the best food we had throughout our whole trip in Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. The gardens surrounding Yashi’s place were beautiful - we especially enjoyed seeing the peacocks in the trees as we ate our meals!

These are hard working people that are doing their best to make people feel welcome and comfortable. Both of which I did.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. All rooms come with a patio with views of the mountain. Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.
