Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

Nirvana Kuti, que se encuentra a pocos pasos de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú y a 3 min a pie de Hanuman Dhoka, ofrece habitaciones en Katmandú. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

The host, Nivan was one of the best hosts I’ve met. He took such pride and care into his guests, he toured us around at his own will and time, providing lovely knowledge and history in the culture of Bhaktapur. He even invited us to join him on his meditation, which was an experience in its own. I stated during the time of Dashain, a festival in Nepal. Nivan hosted a family dinner, which was delicious, and very traditional, as he explained they only eat like that during festivals. 10/10 experience. The location is also perfect, as you are a one minute walk from the square, and can see that along with the beautiful Himalayas, on the rooftop, where Nivan will most likely bring you tea, and explain more of the history and culture behind it. If you are looking for a good cultural experience, a good view, good location, anything, this is the place for you!!

Sunrise Point Homestay está en Nagarkot y dispone de vistas a la montaña, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Hay wifi gratis. Las unidades cuentan con patio con vistas al lago. La atención que recibí fue excelente. Me hicieron sentir que era de la familia. La mejor comida que probé en Nepal y muy buen precio. La vista desde mi habitación era un sueño. Espero volver pronto!

Jungle Crown Organic Homestaydispone de jardín, terraza y bar. Se encuentra en Nagarkot, a 10 km de Plaza Durbar - Bhaktapur y a 18 km de Estupa de Boudhanath. El sitio en el que esta ubicado tiene mucho encanto ya que estás metido en el bosque y se respira tranquilidad. El dueño es encantador y cocina muy bien todos sus platos estan deliciosos y a muy buen precio.

Cool person in charge always in answering my query without miss. 24 hours hot shower, clean bed, and necessary amenities are just around the corner. New paint and decorations making the space more warm and uplifting. Still the best in its class in Swayambu.

Shine Homestay Famille Francophone - Shine Home and Apartment está a 2,5 km de Hanuman Dhoka y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, terraza y cocina compartida. Es una familia que ha adaptado la tercera planta de su edificio para tener 9 habitaciones que alquilan a extranjeros con decoración y servicios al estilo europeo. Algunos de los que se quedan es larga estancia, por lo que siempre hay bastante ambiente. La mayoría son franceses y alemanes.
