Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

I have been fortunate to travel to many places over the years and this is one of the most genuine experiences I have had. It is based in a local area, a lot more calm than busy Thamel and gives you more insight into how local people in Kathmandu live. You can walk into Thamel or can get a taxi/bike easily with the inDrive app. The rooms are comfortable, there is very good wifi and there is an incredible view from the rooftop. Nir and his family will really look after you, but at the same time give you as much space as you need to do your own thing. They will make it feel like your home where you can relax and whatever you do, try their meals in their kitchen…..you will not regret it! I thoroughly recommend a stay at peace homestay.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. close walk to namobuddha so you can try to catch the goings on at all hours of the day if you wanted to. food was EXCELLENT and some of the best pakodas i've never had in my life. owner and family area kind and always there willing to answer questions with a smile.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Great experience in Bhaktapur. The host is very hospitable and willing to help with any needs. The view of Durbar Square from the terrace is beautiful. There is water available in the corridors to refill bottles, and the beds are comfortable. The place might seem a bit intimidating at first, as it's on the second floor of a bar, but the stay is worth it. I also recommend staying overnight in Bhaktapur rather than just doing a day trip.

Great location, exceptional staff who are always very pleasant and helpful. Excellent value for money. Delicious breakfast. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Bodha.
