Only 1 km from the centre of Maribor, the Črni Baron Pension Black Baron is located in Malečnik, 20 metres from a bus stop. Very nice hosts, greeted us with schnapps. Family rooms have an upstairs with 2 single beds and separate bathroom. Downstairs is a queen and 2nd bathroom. Nice linens. Small refrigerator in room. Wonderful breakfast. Apples and water to go! The meal in the restaurant was also good comfort food and huge portions.

Just 4.5 km from the centre of Maribor, the family-run Motel Lesnik offers a spa area and a miniature golf course. Free WiFi and wired internet is available in all rooms. Evetything was clean, the room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was heavenly, with home made juice, pickles, salad from own garden, and locally sourced free range eggs. The home made cakes were also delicious! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always smiling. On the property there is a mini golf course and a big playground. There is also enough parking spaces. This was a already our third stay here and we will definitely come back next year!

The owner was really nice, kind and helpful. Even if I have encountered some issues with the phone number on Booking he made everything in his power to reach us and ensure that everything is prepared for our arrival. The apartment was big, cozy, very clean and supplied with water, snacks, sweets for the kids and coffee. We enjoyed our stay a lot and if we will travel again to that destination we will, for sure, choose this accommodation.
