Only 1 km from the centre of Maribor, the Črni Baron Pension Black Baron is located in Malečnik, 20 metres from a bus stop. The stuff is very welcoming, nice and polite. The rooms are very authentic. The internal parking is easily accessible. The restaurant is awesome: very delicious food, served very fast and the prices are very reasonable. There is also a very nice garden with a playground for children. When leaving we received a small gift (fresh apples and mineral water for all of us), which was a very pleasant surprise, as the shops were not working on Sunday. All in all It all went really great. I can only recommend this place.

Just 4.5 km from the centre of Maribor, the family-run Motel Lesnik offers a spa area and a miniature golf course. Free WiFi and wired internet is available in all rooms. A lovely place held by very nice people. We had a perfect family room, two big separate bedrooms, a big enough bathroom with a spacious shower. The garden, minigolf and playground were a great surprise.

Our stay at OM Yoga center was so much more than what we expected and intended it to be - a comfortable one-night respite, not far from the highway to Ljubljana - our next destination. On top of the "normal" expectations (ease of access, comfortable beds, cleanliness, area safety ), that were all checked, a real surprise was the interaction with Manica, the manager of the place. Very forthcoming, kind, and helpful, she accommodated our last minute request for a guided yoga session. A lifelong yogi, specialized in Jyotish-vedic astronomy, she handcrafted masterfully the session to our needs and capabilities, such that it was challenging but not at all daunting. Our only regret was that we didn't plan on a much longer stay. Thank you, Manica! We're definitely considering returning. 🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼

Even if I have encountered some issues with the phone number on Booking he made everything in his power to reach us and ensure that everything is prepared for our arrival. The apartment was big, cozy, very clean and supplied with water, snacks, sweets for the kids and coffee. We enjoyed our stay a lot and if we will travel again to that destination we will, for sure, choose this accommodation.
