Tao Thong Villa 1 er staðsett í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Sai Nuan-ströndinni og 1,3 km frá Jansom Bay-ströndinni í Koh Tao og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. This is the secret spot of Koh Tao for nature lovers. There is a magnificent sunset viewing spot, two quiet bays to swim and snorkel in with lots of fish (amazing at dawn and dusk), coastal walks and trails, kayaking… most visitors are zooming around the island to find places like this and you’re right here and nobody else seems to find it! The bungalow we stayed in was well maintained, with excellent sheets, a really nice mosquito net and quiet fan. The bathroom is simple and clean. I really liked the well built windows with mosquito netting, so it was always possible to have good air circulation and not even use the mosquito net over the bed. The balcony overlooks the sea, and each bungalow is spaced far enough for privacy. The restaurant serves a wide range of dishes, mainly Thai with some western (which we didn’t try), and we ate there at least once a day for weeks because the cuisine was tasty and healthy feeling. They make great shakes and grind their own coconut milk fresh every other day for the curries. The staff are discreet and provide accurate service for all transport (taxi, motorbike rental) and living needs, including laundry. If you’re staying more than a few days, they warm up a lot. Renting the motorbike from the property is a good idea… they are honest have fair prices and have good bikes, unlike some of the scam places up in Sairee Beach that try to make money off of fictitious scratches. You can also rent snorkel gear and kayak. Lastly they really work hard to maintain the property. I see them cleaning the beach and walkways of leaves and debris every single morning. I felt like I had found a peaceful corner of paradise, and at a very fair price overall.

Very nice place to stay, just 10 min walking from the port. Big and clean room with balcony and very quiet. Very friendly and helful staff. I totally recommend it!

Huge room with a big bed, couch/sitting area in front of a tv with A/C and a fan and a big window. The bathroom had hot water and provided shampoo and body wash. Check in was easy and fast and the location relative to the pier made it perfect to get a few extra minutes of sleep before out morning ferry.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was exactly as described and matched the pictures perfectly. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very comfortable – a pleasure to use. The location is excellent, with everything you need close by. The staff were attentive and professional, making our experience even better. Highly recommend!

Nirvana Guesthouse er staðsett á Mae Haad-strönd, í 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Mae Haad-bryggju. Sai Nuan-strönd er 2 km frá gististaðnum og Sairee-strönd er í 1,5 km fjarlægð. Great location only a five min walk from the pier, great beds which were capsule-like with a lot of storage space. Lots of showers with soap and can hire a towel
