This is an old traditional house located near the town, not overly luxurious, but incredibly warm and clean. Staying here truly felt like living in a local family’s home. That evening, I had a delicious hotpot made with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were so unique and special. Sitting by a small fireplace while enjoying dinner, I found myself at a loss for words to describe the warmth and comfort of that moment. I also had a long and meaningful conversation with the host, who is a local teacher teaching English to children in the area—a truly inspiring social project. If you’re on the Ha Giang Loop and looking for the most authentic local experience, I highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed!

Location is great, An and the staff are exceptional in providing friendly service. The offered tours are amazing, l did (2) and they exceeded my expectations. Do not book tours other than through An's house. I have to mentioned that An and staff did an incredible job preparing the property as l arrived only (10) days after the devasting floods. It will take months to get the Ha Giang city back to normal but An's house is uo and running and its fantastic.

This place is so nice, you feel welcomed and home! The owner is so friendly and takes care of you, she even gave us recommendations of the rest of our tour! The family dinner was tasty and we talked to a lot of people. The beds are clean and super comfortable! Of course you can hear everything from around but that’s typical for this houses and it didn’t bother us! She even gave us a free upgrade on our room! We would recommend this place a 100%! The location is so beautiful and at the perfect place! She also can tell you the right way to the waterfall which helped us a lot! Thanks for this nice stay!

Featuring city views, Nhà Cổ Lao Xa Homestay Hmong & Bungalow air conditioner in Dồng Văn features accommodation and a garden. The property has mountain and garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed in a private room with comfy double bed with a net on top to avoid mosquitoes. It also had a light, a fan and a lot of power outlets to charge our electronic devices! There were 4 shared bathrooms and they were quite clean and the shower was hot and powerful! The location is nice, you can find a small store nearby and a silver craftsman house in the end of the street. The neighbor next door makes textiles threads. The family dinner was amazing! With a lot of dishes to try and happy water! The host played traditional instruments and also tried to teach the guests to play it as well! The host speaks English and he’s very friendly! The breakfast was simple but tasty (pancakes with chocolate syrup). It was an amazing experience and we totally recommend it!

We loved the peaceful, tranquil and cozy cabin. Sleeping with the sound of the river was incredible. Ling's cooking was out of this world! Hosts were very helpful with booking motorbike rentals and a local guide for taking us around the loop. Thank you Fathien!
