It is close to the bus terminal. It takes just a few minutes to the centro, too. The breakfast is good. The staff is helpful. The room and the common place is always clean.

Different common areas which were very good and overlooking the lake from afar. My dorm was quite far from the common area which was good cause it was quiet and I could sleep well at night. Hot shower that honestly was so far one of the best showers I have had during my travel in Latin America. When you open the window in the room you can see flowers and and some other nature which was nice. Staff was nice and helpful and spoke English. I booked few tours with them which were good (I recommend the tour to Estancia Cristina!).

I arrived at the hostel after having had a pretty terrible experience at Torres del Paine and Andres was super nice and caring to me. He was super supportive and all the little details in the hostel also helped to make me feel comfortable. I particularly liked that the breakfast was prepackaged into re-usable bags (with home-made alfajores!) and some general concern for the environment throughout. The curtains in front of the beds were great for privacy and a power outlet, lamp and storage bag next to the bed were very convenient. There were soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. Location is just off the main road. I'd definitely stay there again.

Schilling Hostel Patagonico is a hostel in the centre of El Calafate. It offers pleasant accommodation and free WiFi throughout the hotel.

Location, staff, cleanliness I had to go back to Calafate last minute and I decides to stay here again as I had been some days before

Woow I was so surprised by hospitality of host. I booked last minute . Came after midnight. She was not sleeping and waiting me . And not with angry face but with smile and gave me room without nobody inside (even if I booked 4 beds dormitory) . Like this I didn’t disturbed sleeping people . Everything was net and tidy in the structure . I was able to use all kitchen Coffe/tea even after 00:00 when I checked in. In the morning lady made all possible to find taxi as I was heading to airport early morning .hospitality 5 stars ! Would come back again :)

Super nice and helpful staff, the hostel is clean and beds are comfortable. We had the double room with private bathroom and it was luxurious for that price! The locality is a big plus if you have a late/early bus connection since the bus terminal is located out of the center. WiFi was fast and reliable, the breakfast was same as on the pictures here. We regretted not staying more nights!

Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, clean and spacious bathroom. The staff is super nice and friendly, always very welcoming.

Set against an impressive Patagonian Mountain backdrop, Bla Guesthouse is a quaint guest house in downtown El Calafate.

The location of the hostel was perfect, in the city centre, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Short walk to the bus station. The room was nice, we had hot water and breakfast was good. Wifi was working great. Value for many was excellent.
