This was my first time staying in a hostel as a solo female traveller and I had a great experience. I felt incredibly safe and comfortable in my room. The location is fantastic being close to the train and to stores/eateries. The hostel puts in lots of effort to have activities such as Karaoke nights, Poutine night - so I think this is fantastic if you're in the city long and want to mingle. I was there for only one night but I would definitely stay here again for the location.

Fabulous place to stay. Once I arrived it was easy to see a proper set up with professional staff at the front desk. The six bed dorm was set up so that no two beds faced each other, which enhanced the privacy as when you openned the curtains, you were facing the wall. The bottom bunks were big enough to sit up in and not bang your head. There was a refrigerator in the room also. A large kitchen on site with ample seating. There is a second kitchen beside reception, which can also be used for early morning departures or late night arrivals. The place was so good I stayed an additional night in a 10 bed dorm, this room was just as nice and had a similar set up. A very mixed age group staying also, so not just a youth hostel. There's an IGA supermarket and a Dollarama store within a 3 minute walk for anything you may need.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The facilities were great, there was a cafe on site, bar, & entertainment for all ages. The neighbourhood outside feels unsafe (particularly at night), but we felt very secure in the hostel compound & stepping out at day time. Wonderful value for money!

The hostel is well-located, close to the subway station and restaurants, just a 10-minute walk away. The room and bathroom are bright, clean, and comfortable. In addition, you have enough space to store your personal items. Highly recommended for those traveling on a budget, it's the best hostel to choose.

Great location, clean and safe hostel. I stayed in a dorm and it was comfortable and quiet. Since it is right smack in downtown Montreal, I would recommend it for a stay close to all public transportation. The breakfast was also very good.

The hotel was a great deal for anyone looking to travel on a budget and be close to downtown and the best highlights of Montreal. It was my first time staying in a hostel abroad and it allayed my fears. I stayed in an all-female room of 12 and it was super safe and clean all the time. The jacuzzi on the roof is amazing and the staff were friendly and multi-lingual. I even extended my stay one extra day. I would 100% recommend this place to friends, solo travellers and especially female solo travellers.

I'm from Ukraine and I spent about 2 weeks there. It was the cheapest and best hostel with an amazing breakfast every morning. This place is really nice, clean, and so comfortable. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Thank you to everyone for everything. I liked it so much!!"
