I liked a lot the hostel. They have a very nice breakfast that is included and the surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. Once you learn how to use the public transportation (buses), is so easy to go to the city center or to the falls (I suggest to buy the daily pass). I also enjoyed the place itself, with a lot of wood, you feel comfortable there and it is different from others hostels. The mattress was very comfortable and I had 3 very good nights of sleep.

The Hotel Zak is located right in the car-free centre, 3 minutes' walk from the Schaffhausen Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available in the the entire building.

We came in tired after long journey and got offered free drinks. What a nice welcome! That was also not the only surprise. Although we booked a double room for one night, we unexpectedly got an upgrade to a very spacious studio. It was very kind of the owner to offer it to us. Even though the hostel is located above the pub and there was a concert on the street, the windows are pretty good and we spent a very good night. The studio was also clean and well-equipped. The hostel is located very close to a train station and almost in the middle of the old part of Schaffhausen.

The lady at the reception was so nice,Room was so clean,nice and very well decorated.Washroom was also very clean. Towels and every necessary things were provided. 10 min walk from the rhein falls and train station and the bus station is just in front of the door. Overall 10/10

Simple, fresh delicious food. friendly and cheerful staffs and manager Is professional, paying great attention to each guest’s personal experience. It takes a little time to walk to the Old Quarter but the riverside bath makes it relaxing and pleasant.

Depot 195 occupies a renovated brick building in a historic factory site in the centre of Winterthur, 500 metres from the train station. It offers a snack bar and free WiFi access.

Nice, athmospheric hostel in a cool neighborhood, close to the train station. Everything was clean and comfy. Was not fully booked, so I was able to get enough sleep. Kitchen is large and well equipped, and there is also a great balcony.

I arrived quite late and the lady was very accommodating. Communication on the messaging app was great and she replied very quickly. The last who greeted me was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was good and considering this was one of the cheapest places I could find I was very impressed. I had a single bed, plenty of sockets to charge my devices and a shared shower room next door. Everything was clean and tidy. Location was excellent, it’s located just underneath the castle and just a few steps from the waterfront. The town is a few minutes walk away and the huge waterfall is a 45-60 minute stroll along the river. Is be happy to stay here again especially if the price is right.
