It's simple house with five rooms and you really feel like at home. The host is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but comfortable (there's no window but a roof skylight). Even in January it was heated and there's really hot water. Kitchen was well equipped so we didn't have problems with cooking.

Check in was east and friendly, however, you do have to make your own bed when you arrive. Luckily, all my roomies were still awake so I did not disturb anyone at midnight. The beds were comfortable and nice clean bathroom. Breakfast was the generic Chilean breakfast they offer with cheese, ham, and bread with tea. I enjoyed my one night as I transferred over to Torres del Paine.

This is a nice family run place with 4 units to rent. They know very well the city and the hiking tracks around and can help you plan your outdoor activities. Andres (the son) is an athlete who runs all the tracks normal people do walking :D One night the father even ran to the shop to buy an HDMI cable when we showed his son that the TV chrome cast didn't work on our computers. The parents speak a limited english, but the son is always available on WhatsApp to answer any query or help translate.
