We stayed at Casa Campesina when we were visiting Salento. The property is in close distance to the bus terminal which made it perfect to travel from Bogota and travel to Salento and back daily. It’s also close to the airport, and the hosts arranged airport stop-off so transportation is super easy! Unlike other hostels close to the bus terminal, this property is on a residential street and is super quiet and very safe neighborhood. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and friendly, we felt like we were staying at our grandparents’ house :) They accommodated early check-in and were already waiting for us at 6 am in the morning! Couldn’t have asked for more.

The best check-in experience so far in Colombia. Unprompted, Erica gave us a map of the town (a first!) and showed us useful locations like ATMs, good cafes and restaurants - in short, everything new arrivals needed to know. Each room is individual and named, not numbered, and nicely designed. Rain ponchos for guests' use are hanging in the rooms. The night desk clerk was as friendly and helpful as Erica. Quality in every way.

Everything at Tukawa was spot on. The staff were not only very nice, but also very professional. The views are breathtaking and the activities they offer are much better than what you would get in the area, as they are more authentic and less touristy. The place is very clean and the food quite tasty. When I was there they had three options for breakfast, so definitely more varied than in other places in the area.

David was lovely and had lots of advice about what to do in Filandia. The whole place was very clean, nice large kitchen, comfy bed. Great location. Plug sockets for each bed.

Above and beyond my expectations. Animals like horses a baby pigs hanging out next to the playground that was so awesome for our 3 years old boy. The two pools and jacuzzi very modern and clean. The staff so awesome and helpful even the guard at night was great

Super friendly, helpful and funny staff. The hostel is designed like a spacious hotel complex. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the countryside but is easily and cheaply accessible with regular jeeps. In the morning you can hear lots of birds, cozy and well furnished.
