We loved the hostel, the glamping was very cozy and plenty of space, with lights and fan. There’s a kitchen when we can storage food and prepare meals, common area with sofas and tables and a lovely pool which was quite warm even by the evening. All the Spaces were very clean.

Located in Tamarindo and within 100 metres of Tamarindo Beach, The Backside House - Women Only - features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi.

Really, really nice hostel! Very laid back, really nice facilities (especially the kitchen) and super friendly hosts. 30 seconds to the beach and a couple of minutes walk to some really nice coffee shops, food outlets, bars. I booked one night, arrived and immediately extended for another! Would definitely stay again!

Everything was just wonderful. Mati and Maria are great hosts. They made us feel very welcome in their house. It didn’t feel like a hostel but like a home. We cooked dinner together, played board games with everyone at night and they even took us on a surf trip to another beach. Mati is also a great surf coach himself and you get a discount for surf lessons and board rental when staying with them. The location is perfect, close to the city and the beach. The house is very beautiful with an outside area and balcony you can use. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped and always clean. This is the best place we stayed at on our journey and we really enjoyed it. If you go to Tamarindo you shouldn’t miss out on this.

Very nice hostel 2 min from the tamarindo beach the kids who working there was great .A nice pool a howling monkeys in the trees you can hear them every morning above your head.

The manager (Omar) is super nice and helpful:). The hostel has a very positive vibe:), full of young people:). The beach is super close, (lone minute from the hostel). The rooms are very simple, but clean, you have everything you need:)

Marco, Alyssa, Erika and Josh we're amazing hosts. They made the 4 days go by way to quick. There is a big kitchen and a small pool to hop in after a surf session. All in all just a great Hostel.
