I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay. Large room, balcony with hammock, interesting design of property, across the road from the ocean away from the noisy area of town. Good breakfast with good coffee and healthy bread. Filtered water provided, with hot option good for tea and cleaning my portable water bottle. Great homemade ice cream available. Book exchange with books in several different languages. Beach towels and hammocks available to take to the beach area. Nice staff. Staff helped me with figuring out transport to my next town and reserved the bus ticket for me. One of the best places I have stayed!

Casa del Sol is located in Montañita, just steps away from the beach. Free WiFi access is available and a free daily breakfast is offered.

Good vibe, chilled and relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast, nice staff at the entire place. If you are to relax and chill down, head there. They have on-site Spanish teacher with very reasonable pricing. Owner super fair, I needed to move earlier than booked (on non-refundable reservation) however I received my money back for one night as soon as they find someone who took my previously booked room. It’s not the money itself, but super fair attitude that needs to be noted. Finally I stayed there 2 nights only but already felt like home and as if I knew the crew since ages.

The room and all facilities were very clean and the host Peter was kind enough to let us check in early and check out late without additional cost. The garden has lots of spaces to relax and the hostel is close to the beach.

I like how the place is far enough from the center to be quiet and more in nature. The room is comfortable, with it's own bathroom and a kitchen to use. Omar is friendly and has a lot of good useful information.

Amazing place, right at the beach and close to Montanita center, but still quiet at night. Gloria is a fantastic host, very friendly and happy to help. Rooms are super clean and in good condition incl. A/C and hot water. There is an outdoor kitchen with everything you need, a pool table and a pool from where you can watch Iguanas in the trees.
