Position: quiet area, surrounded by trees, at a short walk distance from Dharamkot and Bhagsu (if you know the shortcuts!); People: the staff was nice and efficient. Most guests were easy going, well-behaved and nice to be around and talk to. Food: they have a large menu of food (indian and international) available at any time if the day, ideal if you want to chill and eat something without going to Dharamkot or Bhagsu. Food quality, price and and portion size was in line with most cafes and restaurants in the area

Love it ! Stayed here for over a week after only booking one day , female dorm is fantastic and I'd highly recommend 😊 foods amazing too I had so many orders of kadhi panneer and rotti also the pancakes are nice the common area is also really beautiful so much light

The location is perfect. Easy to reach upper dharamkot, a lot of thing happening around Bhaggsu, Mcleod ganj not so far away. Rooms are nice, people there are helpful. Also- it is a perfect place to meet other like minded travellers. Feels like home away from home.

yeshi had a nice vibe when i checked in. i actually had a medical emergency while at the hostel. vishal quickly came to my aid, along with anther guest who is a friend of his. vishal got his taxi driver friend and went with me to the hospital. he was kind and comforting, and i knew he would stay with me. the problem was resolved at the hospital. afterward i went up to the lounge area and had a ginger lemon honey tea and talked with the other guest. vishal is just a good human being, and i'm sure his partner yeshi is the same. there are fancier places around, but if you want to be treated like family, this is the place to stay.

Absolutely amazing experience we stayed at the Hostel for the first time it was a great experience Mitra Hostel Macleodganj was really good, sparkling clean,Staff was really good we met Abhinav a solo traveller who took care of our stay completely such a beautiful soul 💝 all the needs were taken care of. Excellent breakfast and dinner was served by happy people good food 😁 ,a must stay place in Macleodganj well connected to all the sightseeing places.They provide car park with reservation. Beautiful view from the balcony as well as roof top restaurant a very well maintained property, we unfortunately had to leave one day earlier due to flight schedule but would have loved to extend our stay instead
