Maybe my favourite hostel after 4 months in India - I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying over a week. You can get out of bed and jump straight into the backwaters. The sunrise boat tour through the mangroves is a must (& really good value). Loved the Keralan breakfast in the morning, and appreciated being able to use the kitchen to cook my own food after travelling for ages! Attracts a great backpacker crowd and is super social in a chill way. Rooms are simple but clean and the outdoor common areas are perfect - hammocks galore. Thanks for a great stay 🌊🌴🌞

I loved the people who work there, the view from the terrace is amazing, at night you can listen the waves and the chirpping of crows. The location is great only 5 minutes to the black beach. I met a lot of interesting people. Zostel is a place where you can socialize, chill or play board games. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved my stay here, the location is perfect which is just 3 minutes walk from the helipad, The host was incredibly friendly and liked the community kitchen. The dorms and washroom are neat and clean, a wonderful and vibrant common area with a lot of board games to play.

About the hostel very shortly, well facilitated, comfortable, and neat. I do believe that people create a unique place, and this place confirms that. The host, Santos, is so generous, hospitable, and helpful. He can arrange everything, bicycle, food, trains, and I guess much more. Loved the hostel. Really really friendly staff they’re like a family there and look after you. There weren’t many people when I was there due to it being the off season but in terms of the facilities and staff I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I stayed there for a week and it was lovely. The place is really clean, the rooms are nice and the common areas are great. They really care about their guests and it was a good place to stay, close to the cliff but not in the middle of the Varkala tourists chaos. Thank you all so much for everything!!!

The cleanest hostel I have been so far in India. They provide towels and water. The bed have curtains for privacy, a light and they are very comfortable.
