THE Place to stay in Varkala! For all Lovers of the beaches aside the tourist hustle & bustle in main Varkala -Cliff & Coral is your place to choose! It’s just 2mins walk away from the beautiful beach and the hostel is nestled in a garden with many trees which give you nice shade during the hot hours of the day! The Dorms are clean and each one has a private Terrace/ Veranda to hang out as well :) Ani & Nathan who are running the Hostel are very friendly, welcoming everyone with a smile and try everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! I stayed about a week here meeting many friendly and relaxed people and would always love to come back when I’m in Kerala! Thank you!

I loved the people who work there, the view from the terrace is amazing, at night you can listen the waves and the chirpping of crows. The location is great only 5 minutes to the black beach. I met a lot of interesting people. Zostel is a place where you can socialize, chill or play board games. I highly recommend it.

Great location, close to the beach but tucked away where it's quiet. They had an assortment of board games, books, and instruments to use during your stay. The hostel had a chill, social vibe. The staff was super kind and helpful. Vikrim even helped me buy a new phone after mine broke. I am incredibly grateful for him. The beds were comfortable too.

About the hostel very shortly, well facilitated, comfortable, and neat. I do believe that people create a unique place, and this place confirms that. The host, Santos, is so generous, hospitable, and helpful. He can arrange everything, bicycle, food, trains, and I guess much more. I highly recommend this recently-opened hostel with a lovely personnel ready to help. All amenities are new and clean. There is a nice rooftop space with a nice view toward the sea.
