I had a very pleasant four-day stay here. It is newly-opened, clean and comfortable, with a modern design and great attention to detail. The manager, Federico, was very friendly and gave me excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. I would especially like to thank Gabriela, the reception girl. She helped me out of an unpleasant thing, very warm, cheerful and chatty. She is definitely one of the reasons that I will choose to stay at Nordic Hostel again. Additionally, the bed is very comfortable and come with blackout curtains, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The kitchen is also very clean and well-equipped with all the necessary utensils and cookware. Highly recommend！

It was my first time staying at a hostel and it made me want to go to hostels more often. The location is great, just a couple of minutes away from the church and about 15-20 minutes from BSI (which honestly, if you don't have heavy luggage you can do it in about 10 minutes and the road is really easy to follow). The receptionist was nice, asked me if I'd like a top or bunk bed which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were spacious even though there were 8 of us there, but the mattresses were hard, which for me was a con, but not entirely uncomfortable. The facilities were really clean even throughout the night which I appreciated, the bathrooms were nice, there was enough space to change in, The common kitchen/area was really beautiful and you could see the church from it, there was complimentary tea and coffee, even condiments left from previous tenants as a way to help fellow travellers. Would book again.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The check-in was very easy, because I received one email with the code to open the door and my room. Was possible to let also my luggage there in the last day for free- they have special place for luggages. One small supermarket is near the Guesthouse, just cross the street. The city center is 10-15 minutes walking and the bus station for the airport is only 5 minutes walking.

Set just 250 meters from Laugarvegur shopping street, this central Reykjavik hostel offers guest rooms and dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Harpa Concert Hall is 1 km away.

Hostel is located in the city centre of Reykjavik but still has large free car park. It’s very clean and has all the possible facilities: shared spaces like bar and good kitchen with option to make food, saving some money. Bed and room itself were fine, nice and clean, with good WiFi and charging station next to the bed. If you’re looking for a relatively cheap place to stay, this hostel is probably the best option.

The Hostel is very central, Reykjavik Center is very near by foot (not even 10 minutes), the hostel in itself is modern, nicely decorated, calm, had a fantastic kitchen and the staff was really nice! The beds were super comfortable, we love that there was a sink inside the room, making things as skincare or brushing the teeth more private and it’s nicely separated from the beds with furniture in the middle. 5 points for the window blackouts as well, since at this time of the year it’s important to have darkness in the room at night. Showers/WC were very nice and private. Lovely stay! 😊
