The hotel is located in a great area (lweibdeh) next to Paris Square. The area has lots of restaurants, shops and bars (try Dali for drinks and Nest Coffee for Coffee). The owner of the hotel is absolutely wonderful and very communicative in case you need anything. And I want to give special thanks the super kind congierce who is always there to help. The rooms are new and clean and very comfortable and extremely good value for money! Would definitely stay here again.

The Castle Star is great hostel, not only good price and location, but also nice staff and the best view. Staff ( maybe is owner, I am not sure ) helped us found the driver from airport to Amman, tell us a lot of useful information. On the night, the terrace can see old town's light, I loved it. Even Amman was very cold in February, but The Castle Star had hot water for shower, so don't warry about that. The most important thing is the bathrooms are separated for men and women, which is very helpful for female solo travelers. If you are looking for a place where you can meet kind locals, don't miss this place!

The location is good because it's in the heart of Amman (near the markets, shops, and everything you need). Ahmad who waited for me during my check-in is a great because he explains the amenities I can use and also reassures me every time and went in and out of the hotel. As I was travelling solo, the room is huge for me for the price I paid. There's a kitchen you can use, the washroom is clean and well-maintained every time I check and go inside (as I noticed the tissue papers are frequently replenished an they have an extra one incase the other one if occupied). The rooftop view is AMAZING as well. You can chill and look around the city of Amman from above (it was cold so I didn't stay there that long).
