GermanyThis was by far my favourite stay on my Japan trip. The hostel is incredibly comfortable and peaceful located in a small, quiet village. The owners are very kind and easy to communicate with. I was welcomed by the owner’s wife, who was very kind and spoke English well, so it was easy to communicate even though I don’t speak any Japanese. I got clear instructions on how to check in, what to do in the area, etc. What really stood out is how incredibly clean the hostel was. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen, as was the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with rice, tea, sauces available for use. The convenience store is literally next to the hostel, so it was also easy to buy groceries and there was a microwave, rice cooker, hob and kettle all available in the hostel. The shower was great (amazing water pressure) and they had towels, as well as other cosmetic products available at the reception. The beds were large and comfortable and the room was a good size. Overall, I could not have imagined a better stay and for the price, it was definitely worth it. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this hostel!
