Loved everything about this wonderful place! It’s a spacious tastefully decorated and fully stocked traditional Japanese home near the Hase train station. We used the owner’s bicycles to visit all the temples and shrines in the Kamakura area, making touring easy.

great location and friendly staff. We arrived very late but the receptionist was very patient. Paid the late charges according to the rates. There is a secure back door for customers to come and go after check-in hours. Moderate Wi-Fi connection. The bathrooms and shower rooms are clean and shared between 6 rooms on each floor.

Both locations are right across from each other so easy to find if you go to the wrong location at first. Easy entry keypad and easy check in. I wish there was a space to hold my luggage for the day, but I knew when booking that it was mostly unmanned. It was very quiet which is good for resting, and the upstairs kitchen and lounge was clean and comfortable. Good sized women’s only dorm room and the bed space was roomy. Lockers provided in room for baggage as well as space under the lower bunks. For someone who needed a clean and quiet space to sleep for the night, it was good! But if you want a more social hostel, this place isn’t for you. Very close to the nearest train station as well!

One of the few Hostels in Yokohama, although this city is just amazing. Hostel is small with just one room, so it may get noisy sometimes. Small Communal area as well as the bathroom and the dormitory beds are right next to each other. Location is perfect

I loved the location in Chinatown. The spa is very nice as well. I stayed in the ladies area and it was perfect. The staff are really friendly. As mentioned in previous reviews, I don’t think I’d like staying in the mixed dorm area as it opens up to the common area or the door to the ladies shower and toilet area.
