amazing traditional tatami room with very affordable price, we loved the cute and beautiful old house of the owner who was very welcoming. the tatami beds were so comfortable and the guesthouse vibe was very welcoming. We went to the public bath in the street and loved our stay in kyoto! I recommend 200% this place !!

What I loved is that I mentioned that I have a problem with my knee and they helped me in order to sleep in the dow bunk even e¿when was booked already,, so in that way they care about us as a guest. that is a extra plus from them.

    I had a great stay at PIECE Hostel Sanjo. Central location next to Nishiki market, Pontocho Alley and several restaurants and shops. I booked a bed in a female shared dormitory. Comfy and intimate bed, with a safe to store valuable items if needed. Only women toilet and shower also available. I would definitely recommend it!!

    One of best hostels I've stayed at! Great location in a very traditional local street that barely sees any tourists. The property itself is a traditional house. Clean and very comfortable. Washing machine and detergent available for FREE, and balcony for hang-drying. Plenty of hangers in the room and in the balcony. Spacious common room.

    I stayed at bunk bed for 2 nights. Modern hostel with great facilities and great location. Bed was comfortable & we can use extra pillow for free. Coffee & tea, towels also free! Very recommended !
