My bed wasn't ready and they made me an upgrade to single room, so welcoming! Bathroom wasn't so small as I expected from the reviews Very well equipped kitchen and cozy common area with sofas and two tables. Very cozy hostel with everything you need located in a quiet area but not far off from the city centre. The host is also welcoming and has great recommendations. Definitely an awesome hostel to come in contact with other travellers and enjoy Osaka. 10/10 would come back.

I really enjoyed staying there. The property was nice and clean and I loved the inner courtyard. Staying there was peaceful, staff were nice and the breakfast was simple but great value for money in my opinion! ☺️

This property was stunningly beautiful, a wonderful old Japanese tea house. We were absolutely delighted. Not for those looking for a luxurious modern hotel, but absolutely perfect for us. Very close to everywhere we wanted to go, right next to Nara park, but not far from the station. Takashi, our host, was charming and spoke perfect English. He recommended where to go and returned to the house to show us how to turn the heating on when it got cold. We had a wonderful stay and we already miss it!

A very nice place at the middle distance between the train station and Nara park. Quiet area, plenty of restaurants or markets nearby. Very clean, comfortable room. The kitchen has basic amenities.
