Great value. The hostel was super clean, the bed very comfortable and the location great! The staff was extremly friendly and all the processes were really well organised and thought through. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay!

This is a beautiful place with a fantastic host. The common living room on the second floor is one of the most enjoyable and comfortable places on our entire trip as a Henro around Shikoku island. Very memorable stay. Perfect level of comfort after a hard day of hiking.

Great stay at JAQ homestay. We spent only one night but it was great, dormitory was like it was describe, clean commons parts, and mostly a friendly staff (who speak english). We arrived for the italian cooking party and spent a great night meeting people and talking with the Chief, who managed to make everyone feel welcome !

Ryokan was amazing. Great location, central to everything. Building and rooms were authentic, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the extra touches like the robes and artwork were very thoughtful. Favourite Japan stay on our trip. Would highly recommend.
