It's a dream! The view here is incredible. Dreamville is nestled in the mountains, so you have a perfect view of the landscapes of Ella, including a gorgeous waterfall. You wake up to absolute serenity, and the property has lots of places to just chill out and enjoy the view. The beds are kind of open air, which I loved because you can draw the curtain in the morning and you're immediately greeted by this unbelievable view. The temperature is perfect too - Ella is never cold or hot, so the blanket that Dreamville provides is perfect for nighttime. Beds are super comfy! Breakfast was lovely as well, and you eat on the terrace that overlooks the whole property. Sham, the owner, is so lovely and did everything she could to make my stay wonderful, including calling tuktuks for me in the middle of the night! The only thing I'll note is that the place is about 30 minutes outside of Ella on a very bumpy tuktuk ride. I loved being away from the main part of Ella, but you might want to factor in some extra time and cost for travel (costs are minimal, about 2000 SLR one-way into town). The wifi works really well, but doesn't quite reach the bunks, so you'll probably want to use it in one of the common spaces. My only regret is not staying longer and spending more time hanging around Dreamville!

This place is like an oasis of peace and quiet from the noisy and crowded place that is Ella. The bungalow is located on the mountainside with a beautiful view. The terrace with a hammock was my favorite place where I could observe nature while drinking a cup of warm tea. The rooms are clean, the water in the bathroom is hot. The only downside is that you can hear a little bit of the person from the next room. The staff is great, thank you very much for these evening conversations

Super welcoming host - I was offered a cup of tea at arrival :-) and several times during my stay. New hostels - all very functional, nice, clean and tidy. Very good location. The provided towels are really good!! (I experienced no towel or really old one in other hostels). Central without being in the middle of the noisy pubs/night clubs… Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at 4 Axes Hotel! The food was delicious with both Sri Lankan and Western options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after exploring Ella.

I had an amazing stay at Ella Kumi Hostel. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and towels and toiletries provided. The little terrace is very cozy to ist and enjoy the jungle sounds. It's a very quiet and peaceful place surrounded by beautiful nature, yet it's walking distance to Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak and only a 10 minute tuk tun ride to town. The value for price is unbeatable as Dilan went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. He drove me anywhere I wanted with his tuk tuk, was very caring and helpful in organizing my trip and he provided free coffee/tea with cookies and bananas. I don't think I ever got this much value for money. And Dilan is just such a kind host and it was lovely chatting to him. He really puts a lot of love into his hotel. Highly recommend! Please stay with Dilan. You won't regret! Thank you for everything Dilan!

It was one of the best hostels I have stayed in terms of hospitality. The manager Shiva was very welcoming and took care of everything I needed throughout my stay. The Breakfast was amazing and the dorm room was very big and comfortable. Also, the property is New and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay there.

The place has a beautiful view! The star was definitely the Sri Lankan complementary breakfast they have. It was excellent and very big! I really enjoyed staying at this place.
