My second time at Ceylon Stayz. They were kind enough to hold onto some of my things for 3 weeks while I was traveling Sri Lanka. This family run business is very nice and they truly care about your experience. I noticed new stands installed by each bed and signage around the hostel, showing that they're constantly striving to improve and actually reading people's feedback. Amazing!

Everything is perfect, starting from the staff to the services and cleanliness. For the first time, I stayed in a hostel that offers air conditioning, laundry, and ironing services for free . The place is wonderful, and I highly recommend staying here.

The location is very good , and they have cafe restaurant which serves very tasty foods and drinks which makes it cozy . The staff is very attentive and hospitable. It’s not noisy at the garden , I supposed to stay only one night but changed my plans to stay 4 nights . Breakfast is so delicious!!

The beds were very comfy, great aircon, really fast wifi. The lounge room is so comfortable to hang out in and sit with other travellers. The hosts, particularly Shantha, are so incredibly kind. They helped me make plans for my entire Sri Lanka trip and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. short walk to the beach.

The location was very perfect for spending a relaxed holiday. Apart from its in house restaurant, it had all the very good restaurants with in walking distance, in fact it is located just opposite of KFC, Pizza hut. Cargils food city is also near by. There is bread talk just 30 m away from the hotel. There is also Laugfs , a super market which is open 24/7 where you can get snacks anytime. There is also Mr Kottu and Wish bakery where very good traditional Sri Lankan food and fried rice are available in very affordable prices. There a common space for the guests who stay in the dorm room. This common space has sofa, TV, Freeze, oven and a common wash room. I loved this common space.

Colombo downtown monkey is centrally located in the heart of Colombo just a short 5-minute walk from you Colombo’s main Railway and Bus Station. Guests can also check-out the peaceful Beira Lake.
