Very friendly hosts, good food, including breakfast which was cheap. The location is great if you wanna stay in a more quiet place, a bit away from the town but close to the impressive temple! I had a really good stay.

The tree house is very unique and the kids absolutely loved the fact there was an actual tree in the room. Beds are comfy, and we were greeted with the most delicious lime juices by our host which was 100% needed after a long hot bus ride. Dinner was delicious and nothing was too much trouble.

There were a lot of activities one could join like jungle hikes, lake swimming or sunset tours. If you had an idea to do something the host was always ready to help organise it. He also helped me with my travel plans and dropped me off at thebus station. I will miss this place, the jungle vibe and the people I met during my stay.

When I arrived I was welcomed by the family (with 2 kids) with some nice tea. Afterwards the husband propsed to do a free scooter tour and we’ve passed some beautiful sights, including the secret lake where you had a view on both the Pidugala rock and the Lion rock. They also were helpful for tuktuk drives (paid) at any arranged hour. In the room I was the only one so I could choose a bed. The bed was comfortable and had a musquito net. There was also 1 fan in the room and the bathroom was specious en clean. In the morning I also got served some delicous breakfast. Would really recommend this place because of the location, value for money, delicious food and the hospitality of the family.

I spent 2 nights at Elegant elephant and i really enjoyed the place. It's quite, surrounded by nature and the view of the rock from the room is really nice in the morning. The whole place is clean and well maintained. Beds in the room are really comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka for me. Owners are also very friendly people, willing to make your stay as good as possible. The food they made for me was absolutely delicious and in big portions. Also, I appreciated the place has WiFi. I recommend this place !

This new place is very nice, rooms are comfortable and super clean, AC and nice shower, the bed is super comfortable. Staff super kind, breakfast and diner are included if you want to stay in the hotel, super good deal for the price of my stay! And possible to rent bike / tuktuk if you want to have diner in the city (2min drive / 5min biking)

Shan is a perfect host! We took a beautiful walk at sunset and his mother has cooked us an amazing breakfast! If you pass by Sigiriya you absolutely have to stop here ;)

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay

This place was just awesome! Clean bedroom and bathroom, peaceful and quiet surrounded by nature, cute dogs who are well-treated, yummy breakfast. Hammock was a big win. As a solo female traveller, Diwa made me feel safe and welcome, and helped me to plan my itinerary. He also took me on a tour which was very informative. Highly recommend.

Incredibly new and clean, with great facilities. Looked after by the most beautiful family who makes the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. The coconut pancakes are incredible! Channa is a fantastic host, always checking in and offering to help with anything you need.
