Very friendly hosts, good food, including breakfast which was cheap. The location is great if you wanna stay in a more quiet place, a bit away from the town but close to the impressive temple! I had a really good stay.

This is definitely a social hostel – within an hour, Thara, Chooty, and Tutu will feel like your best friends. They’re just the kindest, most fun people and truly make the place what it is. The treehouses are magical – tucked into the jungle and if you’re lucky, you might even spot elephants from your balcony. The dorms are comfy and clean enough, with mosquito nets, fans, an epic view and a cute little balcony to chill. There are tons of common areas and always something going on: sunrise hikes to Pidurangala, secret sunset spots, lake swims, safaris… you’ll never be bored. And the team is always around – they truly care about the people staying here, and it shows. The price is kind of ridiculous (in a good way) – it even includes breakfast! Lunch and dinner are cooked and shared together too, if you want and the food is next-level delicious. It’s close to the road so getting around is super easy – tuk tuks from the guys, bikes, scooters or just calling a PickMe. I ended up extending my stay longer than planned and only left because I had a flight but I’ll 100% be back!!

I spent 2 nights at Elegant elephant and i really enjoyed the place. It's quite, surrounded by nature and the view of the rock from the room is really nice in the morning. The whole place is clean and well maintained. Beds in the room are really comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka for me. Owners are also very friendly people, willing to make your stay as good as possible. The food they made for me was absolutely delicious and in big portions. Also, I appreciated the place has WiFi. I recommend this place !

The spacious accommodations were a breath of fresh air, and the complimentary breakfast and dinner buffet were a delightful bonus. Honestly, the value for money here is unbeatable! On our first day, we ventured out to Pidurangala to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The next day, we explored the stunning Sigiriya rock fortress, which was a highlight of our trip. In the evening, we enjoyed a charming bullock cart village safari that gave us a taste of local life. The third day was just as memorable, with a well-organized safari to Minneriya National Park to watch the elephants. It was such a relaxing day, surrounded by nature and wildlife. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit slow at times, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect and enjoy the experience fully. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back! If you're looking for a great place to stay with wonderful activities, this hostel is the perfect choice

Best place ever!!! The location is just perfect, you are away from the loud and crowded places but still a walkable distance to anywhere, you are surrounded by nature you can also see deers in the morning it’s truly magical! Diwakara and his family are all the sweetest people that take you in and you feel so much at home. The beds are comfortable and the shower is nice and strong, which you don’t get everywhere. The only problem is that you might not want to leave this place EVER. 😆

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place is impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home.
