One of the nicest hostels I stayed at in Sri Lanka. I loved my stay at the Sixth Sense, the only problem was that I spent only one night! The hostel has everything you need, it’s very comfortable, clean, with a cute design and the host and staff are incredibly welcoming and nice people.

Excellent location next to bus and train stations. Staff were very nice, very friendly, chatty and helpful. Room was brand new; very clean and comfortable. Bar serves great meals.

We had a wonderful week at Sanithu Homestay! I don’t even know where to start, our time there felt like a little fairytale. We woke up to the sounds of birds, the green garden and immediately felt home from the first day on. Besides the amazing garden and terrace, we enjoyed being around this amazing family! All four of them made our time very special! Champi is an outstanding cook and did her magic every day for breakfast and dinner, considering our requests and being very passionate about sharing her knowledge about Sri Lankan food. We loved all the meals and each day were already looking forward to the next dish. We hope to be back some day and will keep these memories for ever in our hearts. Thank you so much!

I stayed at Pinidu's hostel for a total of 4 nights. It is easily among the best hostel experiences I have ever had (having stayed at more than 40 in the past few years...). The room/bed/bathroom is spotless. The hosts are extremely attentive to detail- gave me tour of the garden and recommendations about where to visit. Above all, I must say that Pinidu is an exceptional human being. After I left the hostel, I had a medical emergency and contacted him for advice. He exchanged with people he knew and sent a friend to the hospital to personally make an appointment for me as I returned to the city. I stayed again at his place for two more nights while I did more tests, during which he was extremely supportive and sought to help me be comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Especially for people who like a calm environment in nature. Peace from Canada <3

It's a shame how far away from Galle this place is. Incredible staff, great food and the place has a great vibe in general. Not a lot of people, so you can have a relaxing time at one of their cabanas or just literally cross the road be at the beach enjoying sunset. Highly recommend this place.

The most lovely man runs this place, very homely. A great budget stay! The dog Cathy was very cute.

Very nice people! They help you with traintimes and tuktuks. The location is good, 10 min from fort and 5 min from a supermatket. The hostel isn't the cleanest but what do you expect for such a price.

Well set in Galle, The Fort Library Hostel provides an Asian breakfast and free WiFi.

The hostel was immaculate, the air con was nice and strong and most importantly the owner was incredible. A group of us quickly became friends and whenever we needed anything the owner went out of his way to help us. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. What a hidden gem in a beautiful area. As a woman, I felt very safe and the owners also take into account measures to explicitly make female traveller's feel safe. I can't reccomend this place enough!
