I really enjoyed the stay! The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful! They have the perfect location- close to the beaches. Everything is new and clean and they offer tea and coffee for free. I can 100% recommend a stay at the hummus hostel. They also rescued a little bird, called Falafel :)

Our stay at White House was absolutely amazing, the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by a mile. The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and comfortable. We spent five days here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The highlight of our stay was the host, who treated us like a family and made us feel so welcome. Amazing location just a few steps and you are at the beach. Uncrowded beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. I got one of the rooms which was large and had a comfy bed. The best owner and helpful staff. restaurant/bar view on the ocean just amazing! Really best value for the money. I truly recommend it !!

Room was clean and spacious, bed felt nice, and probably the best toilet I've used during my 12-day trip in Sri Lanka! Nice facilities. Welcome drink was tasty. Very close to the both the bus station and railway station. Would love to stay again!
