I really enjoyed staying at Dar Afram, Abdul and Sahida really made me feel at home, they were super helpful and I feel we created genuine friendship bonds. Abdul playing his music in the evening and Sahida super helpful with everything made me want to come back and stay with them! It will be like revisiting old friends :)

This hostel has the most amazing staff I have ever met in my life! I can just say a HUGE THANKS for all the people working there, because during my 2 weeks of staying, they treated me so good. I felt like they are all my big brothers taking care of me. I have never seen before a staff so friendly, talkative and involved of the travelers everyday life. Any kind of issue I faced in Essaouira, they were there to help me (even came with me to buy vegetables in the market, to show me how things are going among locals, or we could just eat together to not to feel alone in my lonely moments). Best atmosphere ever! I was a bit crying when I left Essouira :/ If something didn't work in the building (like the electrical socket next to my bed when I arrived) I just told them, and they came right away to fix it. They are fast and really willing to help you. Also if you are looking for a place, where the community life is very good, this is the right place to stay, they have musical instruments, a nice hall, and a rooftop to talk and make friends or find travel buddies. Love you guys! Hope to see you soon!

When we arrived it was already dark but it was already beautiful. The Host was waiting for us till late and welcomed us with smile. On the way to room we were looking at many surf boards and this gave us impression of cool vibe. In the morning it was even better! We were eating great breakfast in a restaurant next to surf house. Restaurant had cool terrace with the view on the sea and you could watch walking donkeys. The neighborhood was very quiet so this location is the best if you want to chill. On the roof top there is an extra place to sit and read a book. I think this place is amazing and has nice vibe, The host is very nice and helpful and the interior is the best! Highly recommend I can't wait to go back there:)

Very good location in a quiet area and a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms were clean and the common areas (pool, kitchen, chill area) were also clean and welcoming. Staff were very kind and friendly. Would recommend, great value for money!
