the beds were soooo comfortable and the place was beyond clean. I had a huge dinner one night with everyone together and ended up meeting a couple of decent guy and had some great conversations. After that met some austrians with whom I played some crazy card game with, was alot of fun. The dicount on the surf rental gear from the brother of the manager was very practicle and used the offer a few times. Breakfast was also good, though could be a bit cheaper.

Simo and his mom are beautiful and caring. We loved staying there. The house is authentic Morocco village house, don’t expect luxury or a renovated structure. It was very quiet, welcoming and well priced stay. Thanks and best wishes for the future.

This surf house is SPECIAL: fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean, very nice and helpful staff, delicious dinner (to be booked in advance at the morning) and super breakfast full of typical moroccan products. The room was big and super comfortable, with a magnificent terrace in a wonderful and peaceful place. The surf house is on the top of a small hill with the ocean view and 5 mins by car far away from the beach of Sidi Kaouki and 20/25 mins drive from Essaouira.

Very pretty and arty hostel, very well located, central but quiet. Room was a good size (we got a private room - sofa downstairs and bed upstairs). Very clean. Breakfast was nice, I liked the homemade jams, olives and the chats with other guests! It's a little haven :)

Amazing place — the dorms are super clean, with comfy beds, curtains for privacy, and lockers. The host is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything or tell a funny story. I absolutely loved the vibe here and just kept extending my stay. Highly recommend!

You know these hotels, that you cannot imagine yourself coming back to the city without staying there? that was Dar Afram for me. Abdul, the owner, made me feel extremely welcome and we had some interesting chats. The location is great, a lot of love has been put to the rooms and one of the highlights is definitely the terrace, where one can chill away the day. Thank you Abdul, I hope I’ll make it back to Essaouira and to Dar Afram!

Amazing place! Beautiful rooms (I loved the wooden oculus beds) and beautiful comunal spaces. The rooftop is the cherry on top! You can stay there all they long and being your food without need to buy from the bar, but you should try the smoothie with banana dates and avocado! 😍 The room was incredibly quiet and with a lot of privacy to be an hostel. I slept like a baby. Toilets very clean and the stuff very friendly and helpful!
