One of the cleanest hostels we have ever stayed in, staff seem to be constantly cleaning rooms and shared bathrooms but even cleaning things such as sofas, sun loungers and window screens which I’ve never seen at a hostel. Modern rooms with large lockers and plugs and lights in dorm beds.. loads of places to relax and chill out outside the rooms.

Hostal & Suites Pata de Perro is located in central Bacalar, less than 300 metres from the lagoon’s shore, and right across the park. Free WiFi access is available.

We were in a suite and it was gorgeous, everything. Good bed, enormous bathroom, top kitchen, good wifii, good a/c. Location couldnt be better.

We like the atmosphere over there. Breakfast included. Nice guests and helpful staff, especially Jim. Free drinking water. Free excursion to private lagoon. Close to the centrum.

Very nice spacious room. Awesome shower, hammock in the room which was cool for hanging out! Complementary coffee and a good location. What more does one need? That’s right, nothing ;)
