One of our favourite hostels travelling CA over the past 5 months. Very chilled and comfortable, tasteful and boutique style design, always spotless, breakfast is delicious and staff are very helpful. Lots of chill out areas & small gym onsite too. We extended our stay for 4 nights as loved it here. Felt like a taste of home. Lots of hostels in Leon had very strong reviews- we also stayed one night in another highly rated hostel but came back to La Tortuga as overall wayyy nicer.

Had a good sleep in a nice room, the bed was comfy. Great location. Kitchen is well equipped. Fantastic staff. I could park my motorbike on site, was a bonus.

Our favourite accomiddation in over a month travel around central America. Very clean, very peaceful, great stuff, AC, fun, nice swimming pool and cery big and comfortable shared bathroom. In our room wifi was around 20 mbps so good enough ;)

Staff members are super nice, smiling and there's always someone present in case of need/ask. - Each bed (in dorms) have a fan and a locker (large enough to fit a 15-20L backpack). Private rooms also have fan, and A/C for an extra cost. - 3 shared bathrooms, regularly cleaned (multiple times a day). No hot water, but the cold water isn't freezing cold. - Same desayuno every morning, but two differents options (eggs with gallo pinto or pancakes). - Kitchen well furnished. Old pans and pots, but still doing the job. - Good Wi-fi in the main common area, weak in the back part of the hostel (but I think there's an other Wi-fi network for there). - Location right between the city center and the bus terminal (10-15 minutes of walk going to either of). - Laundry service available. Definitely unbeatable value for money in León.
