The view from the roof is absolutely incredible for sunset! The room is very well appointed, with water, a kettle for tea, even little chocolates and towels rolled like swans. The staff is warm and lovely. They volunteered to drive me early in the morning to the temple so I didn’t have to get up quite so early to catch the sunrise. If you stay here, be sure to check out the beautiful ceiling painting in the lobby.

I checked into Nepalaya Eco Hostel on my first night in Pokhara and ended up staying for over a month. It’s such an easy place to relax and just unwind. Rather than feeling like a typical hostel, it felt more like a homestay with a restaurant—comfortable and welcoming—yet still offered the benefits of a hostel. I enjoyed meeting other travelers in the shared dorm, and the atmosphere was laid-back and friendly. The family who runs the hostel was incredibly helpful on many occasions—from finding me a quiet room for a conference call to setting up an extension cord so I could charge my laptop in the dorm. These small acts of kindness made a big difference in my stay. I’d definitely return here the next time I’m in Pokhara.

The place is one of the places you can stay . It's just 50 M away from the beautiful phewa lake and the Annapurna mountain view from the roof top is amazing. The manager was a GREAT guy 👍 who opened the gate for me even when I reached there at 3AM in the morning before my check in time . All the taxis, bicycles , massage , services are available nearby. The room is clean with a toilet . OVERALL ONE OF THE BEST STAY I HAD

I had a wonderful stay at the Hostel Forestway! I spent one night there after trekking ABC and it had all the comforts and amenities I was hoping for after 5 days trekking up and down mountains! Specifically, the host family was really friendly, kind, and helpful — they made sure we had everything we needed and even provided recommendations on buses from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The showers were great too — clean with hot water. And the views of Lake Phewa from the rooftop are just wonderful! I stayed in the 6-bedroom dorm and it was just what I needed: affordable at 300 NPR/night but great value; clean rooms, freshly made beds, and quiet neighbors! Some of my friends stayed for longer times (both in dorms and private rooms) and had a great experience as well! Last, there's an adorable kitten who lives onsite; the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay :)

Super friendly and fair staff and management ! The beds are comfortable, hot showers, multiple clean toilets. The rooftop is amazing to chill at and watch sunsets from. In the center of the lake area and pretty close by to many nice restaurants and shops.

Such a great hostel! The rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. I got sick while in Pokhara and the staff were so helpful with bringing us anything we needed. Rooftop was beautiful and amenities of the hostel were great. Would definitely stay here again! The location is a bit further away from the town centre but still walkable to everything you need.
