This was my second time at Casa Areka and can't wait til I can come back again in the future! Such a cozy little hostel, with amazing, funny and super welcoming staff - always makes you feel like you are literally visiting your family from abroad (Jose, Jesus, Mattias <3)! The facilities are in great shape - considering that the price is *extremely* low, especially for Panama City, and the breakfast delicious as well. There are even two cats that often visit the hostel, which only adds to the overall vibe :) Highly recommend a stay, 10/10.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location is really quite close to the aiport as well as some great facilities. The room was very comfortable, honestly the bwd was so comfy, I slept as well here (if not better) than in some much more up-marked hotels. It was a real plus point for me. The room is basic but it literally has everything you need and the whole place has a cheerful vibe about it. On the basis of this stay, for the price....it's an exceptional find and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
