The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with extremely good air con. We needed late check out for our Kawasan Falls trip and it was no issue or extra cost. The journey to Kawasan Falls wasn’t far either. Friendly neighbours.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Wild Monkey Hostel for 3 days, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The service is truly world-class, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I’ve encountered in any hostel or hotel. The rooms are spotless, super clean, and have a sleek, modern design that made my stay very comfortable. However, while the rooms are fantastic, the AC was a bit noisy, and on the 2nd and 3rd days, it started leaking water. Initially, I was considering giving the hostel 4 stars because of this issue, but the exceptional customer service completely turned my experience around. A special shoutout to the staff who went above and beyond to help me when I accidentally left my shoes at the hostel on my way to Oslob. I contacted them to explain my situation, and they kindly arranged for a driver to deliver my shoes to me the very next day—right at the whale shark spot! This act of kindness and their willingness to go out of their way to assist me was absolutely heartwarming. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The Wild Monkey Hostel deserves a 10/5 for their incredible service and the wonderful staff who made my stay unforgettable. Thank you for an amazing experience—I can’t recommend this place enough! 🙌🐒

I decided to stay in Moalbal for one more day and booked Maayong hostel unexpectedly. The staff (Megan?) was quite nice, and they helped me to book the taxi back to the airport on the next day with reasonable price. Thank you for helping me to have my final day in PH so great and relaxing! All the staff were so nice and reminded me when and where to take the taxi and leave the keys. Overall, the public area was spacious and relaxing. As for the room, "Wow!" is the phrase I came up with when I walked in. I was impressed by the Bali natural style (although I've never been to Bali). It's a blessing to have a room near Basdiot Beach :)

Loved the hospitality. The owners made sure I got a the best transportation as I was headed for a night out alone. I had expected a tuktuk and got a whole fancy jeep instead. The driver was also so sweet making sure I was OK the whole night and made sure I got back safe.

It’s very green, cozy place with beautiful landscape. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you wish to have time off from city life style, I recommend this place. Our room was a hostel type option, and It’s nice to have a shower door outside in such landscape, not disturbing people in room. I saw some guest are coming back yearly to this place.

I had a four bed dormitory room all for me, so that was great. It had AC and nicely smelling bedding. The crispy chicken for dinner was delicious!
