I only slept one night, before continuing my trip to Siquijor Island. The place is very beautiful, wooded and the rooms are very clean and organized, the bed is capsule style and the mattress is very comfortable.

Tweety is a wonderful host and what makes Antwet an ideal place to stay for a backpacker. She is extremely friendly and takes great pleasure in offering information to guests. Her tips to use Dumaguete as a base to travel to see South Cebu overnight (to avoid awful traffic when on Cebu Island) were extremely insightful and for this reason, as well as the great atmosphere in the hostel, I decided to extend my stay from 2 nights to a week! The Rooftop Bar provides a great atmosphere and it's very well kept - the whole hostel is super clean. Free coffee and cold water throughout the day is also a big plus! The terrace is a great place if you work remotely. You cannot beat Antwet for value of money!

this is a wonderful stay for backpackers. there is so much space with your bed so you don’t have to pack/unpack on a floor, it’s part of the bed space so everyone has plenty personal space. really yummy breakfast in the restaurant attached with 10% discount for guests

I had a lovely stay here! All the staff go above and beyond and are so genuinely kind and helpful. The food was great and the rooms and facilities were super clean. The dorm was really affordable and the fan made it really comfortable. The diving was amazing, all the guides are great at spotting things and I had some super chill, fun dives. They went out of their way to show me a bunch of different sites. Definitely some of my favourite diving in the Philippines! All the equipment was well maintained and I felt super safe. Would return here if I come back to Dauin.

Very nice couple as hosts. They help you with everything. We paid 550 Pesos to take the first boat out at 5 a.m to go snorkeling with the whale sharks. Dorms and bathroom are clean. You can refill your water and there is a pool table.

basic room but great value for money. nice quirky 1 night stay for the whale sharks. whale shark place is a 1 minute walk away from the hostel. Ken who works at the Hostel is so good. so friendly and so happy to help you get to and from places.
