Great location, very quiet, very clean, great finishings. The room was spacious, the bathroom was even more spacious, there was a hairdryer (my partner says that's important) and a good shared kitchen and sitting room.

The hotel is very modern, spotlessly clean, great room and very comfortable beds. Lovely breakfasts and very good restaurant attached. It was fantastic value for money. The icing on the cake was the staff, especially Paulo, who couldn't do enough for us - charming and a real gentleman.

What an amazing place. On the outskirts but within easy reach of the centre. The hotel was really really very lovely inside. A touch of old but with clean lovely bathroom. Had a beautiful garden. Luis wasn't there when we arrived but guided us in the building via the phone and checked that we had managed to enter safely. We met them in the morning. Such a lovely man. Very informative and such fun!. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent value. Also pet friendly with secure parking .

The 24 hour reception team. Really nice people. They dont talk a lot. But they was a good deterrent they made me feel safe.

The facility is a youth hostel but we had a private room with ensuite bathroom and the whole facility to ourselves! We based ourselves in Tancos (a pretty town overlooking the river) to visit the stunning Knights Templar Almourol Castle. The facility is close to the railway station and an easy walk (about 1km) to the Castle along the River scenic walk. Ideal for our purposes. We enjoyed a drink at the bar next door. The all male patrons made us very welcome. We loved our time at Albergue da Juventude and would highly recommend it.
