Off the bat, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is great and a 3 min walk from the bus stop and a 5 minute walk from the lake. The facilities were great and cleaned daily. The bar downstairs makes for a fun hangout spot to interact with other travellers.

Set beneath Bled Castle, the Travellers Haven Hostel provides free WiFi. It has a shared living room with LCD cable TV and computer. Lake Bled and the bus station are a 3-minute walk away.

We would definitely recommend staying here. The building is beautifully maintained, both in the common areas and the rooms. Everything is spotless and very well organized. The staff are absolutely lovely – super helpful, always ready to explain how everything works and what to see in town. The location couldn’t be better: just 3 minutes from the lake, right under the castle, close to a supermarket and with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking is available on request for an extra fee, which is very convenient. Honestly, I can’t think of a better place in Bled at this price point. It exceeded our expectations by far. Although it’s a Youth Hostel, the atmosphere is calm and respectful, with a lot of care taken to make it comfortable for everyone. The rooms have lockers, and both the beds and pillows are excellent, they felt brand new.

Couldn't be a more convenient location. Good clean facilities. Comfortable beds. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked nice

What a lovely place to stay and a breath of fresh air from the busyness of Bled. It's only 7 kms away but it feels like a world apart. It makes a great base to explore around. We actually rented some bikes from them and spent the morning riding around the lake. The guy in the reception (afternoon/evening shift when we got there) is terrific!! So helpful and kind!! He gave us a lot of tips and helped us on everything. The room was large enough and the bathroom, just across the corridor, spotless clean. There were a couple more nearby, so we never had to wait. The facilities in teh hostel are really good. We ate out, so didn't hve thechance to use the kitchen, but it all looked great (even the dining room). It's cozy and very original set up, as it used to be a monastery. It's just by the church (and cementery) so expect the bell to ring from time to time. Overall,a great option for Bled and the area.

Good clean room. Very hospitable staff. The atmosphere surrounding the accommodation is beautiful and peaceful.

Very cute small hostel, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious home-made local breakfast, great location as it is close to the lake Bohinj as well as Bled, Gorge Vintgar etc. Overall a great value for money.
