The hostel is on a side street, so there is not much traffic. The common area is really nice and I had many interesting chats there. I really enjoyed my stay in Dulan!

Incredibly homely stay! Jamie and her mum are wonderful, they made sure I spent my time in Luye wisely, chatted about local spots and interesting tidbits, and made me feel so welcome. They called a local train watching spot just to see if they were still open so I could go, and had me eat pineapple when I told them I still hadn’t tried it. 🥹 Breakfast is a delicious home cooked meal, I borrowed a bicycle in the mornings to bike around, living room and kitchen are cosy and quaint. Beds are closer to each other and less private than city hostels which I loved since I was able to meet and chat with fellow travellers, unlike big hostels where everyone keeps to themselves.

The hostel is simple, clean and friendly. The host (Shaun) was so nice. I immediately felt welcome and was introduced to some of the other guests, who I ended up getting dinner with. Any hostel can give you a bed, this one gave me a fantastic experience and some lovely friends. thank you Shaun.

Amazing stay. Very nice homestay. The owner was one of the nicest people and very helpful as well. Beds were comfortable and cosy. The place was extremely clean and right next to the station and 7/11 and family mart.

Close to the train station, suitable for travelers who arrive by train late. The bed in the 4-bed room is cozy, spacious and with enough privacy. The common area is very comfortable to strike up a conversation with new friends. The check-in experience was good, with very detailed explanation on everything in the hostel. Very clean as well.

It was a perfect stay indeed. Calm, clean, inexpensive, and I was happy to have the feeling of “good old days in Taiwan” here.

This was a fantastic stay. Silent bedrooms, above average mattresses, spacious bathroom with good showers and a host that really helped me out with some storage and arranging a taxi. PS. The hostel is straight next to a walkway that used to be an old train track. It is a direct, calm route to the heart of the city. Because of that it's actually a great location. My favourite stay so far.
