Best place on earth with such great staff! Everyone was lovely and took care of us like family! Also the owner arrange our family safari for 4 days, we enjoy and have a lot of experience and memories. Bedrooms are so well decorated with amazing taste and super clean! Close to the city, we walk like 10 minutes The food was amazing and we had a very nice stay, highly recommended!

Everything was perfect : very clean, hot shower with pressure and a curtain in the shower, excellent WiFi in the room, cheap laundry, confortable bed and sheets, perfect location, beautiful view from the rooftop, great coffee in the morning, really nice and helpful staff.

Very cosy guest house with small and nice garden. Good breakfast. You can contact owner Anthony if you need safari or other activities. He will arrange everything starting from picking up from airport. He will organize safari according your wishes and budget. I can really recommend his service.

Mambo Arusha Hostel was very clean. Shared bathroom was large with hot water shower. The staff super friendly, especially Nam. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in every way. She even helped us print our Kenyan visas. Nam also coordinated our shuttle to Nairobi. She is a true gem and made us feel like family. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Great value for our money and wonderful breakfast provided.

The view is fantastic. Each room setting is unique, and attention to the traditional African style techniques is exquisite. Above all, THE PEOPLE!!!! They smiles will follow my memories for a very long time. the food, and the hospitality were all exceptional. A special mention goes to Hidaya, Stela our assistant for the few days we stayed. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, keeping us entertained and ensuring our stay was perfect.

I found a home at Aroma Home. What an incredibly wonderful place. My room was very cozy and homey, with a comfortable bed, a very functional mosquito net (a device they constructed themselves), and a great bathroom. "Superbombastic," the warmth and support of Emmanuel and Saleh, the extensive, generous breakfast, the delicious dinner, the fantastic natural surroundings with crickets and bird songs, the wonderful swing on my balcony, and the entire fascinating accommodation they built themselves (they have more exciting plans for the future). They also offer cooking classes, safaris, cafe tours, excursions to waterfalls, support to women's projects, etc. Saleh and Emmanuel are two very practical, talented men with big hearts. I will definitely come back!

The people are exceptionally nice and helpful, the food is amazing and made from local crops, rooms are clean, we also went to the safari organised by them and were very positively impressed.     Wow, what a find! Tucked away in a lush banana plantation near Arusha, this eco-hostel stole my heart. My cozy barn cabin felt like a treehouse dream, complete with a porch swing and stunning Mount Meru views. But the real showstopper? The incredibly cheap eats and drinks! I feasted on delicious organic meals straight from the farm without breaking the bank. If you're after an authentic Tanzanian experience that's easy on the wallet, Banana Farm Eco Hostel is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds and your budget will thank you!

    This property is fantastic for backpackers, budget travellers, woofers and those looking for an environmental stay. The banana and coffee plantation surround the rooms giving wonderful views. Rooms are basic and clean, with eco-generated hot water and electricity. The tour around the property was reasonably interesting. For the price you pay, you can't go wrong.

    The staff is realy kind and helpfull. The rooms are fine. You pay a good (cheap) price to stay here and a nice breakfast is included. Dinner is possible, they serve delicious food. We had a lovely stay. I would definetly recommend this hostel, especially for students.

    Arusha has many youth hostels, but a lot of them are in inconvenient and difficult-to-find locations. It's not entirely safe to walk around Arusha after dark, so that can be a problem. Green Garden is in a fantastically central location, but still on a quiet, green side street where you don't hear the city's loud traffic at all. And the grounds of the hostel are really beautiful.
