A friendly, comfortable place to stay in NOLA. It'd be worth a trip back to New Orleans just to spend more time here as two nights just wasn't enough. Great conversations to be had with both staff and other travellers. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were always on hand to give recommendations of places to see in the area. Staying at India House is a definite highlight of our trip across the USA so far.

The best hostel I have ever stayed. The location was really good, close to Bourbon Street. Every evening there is a happy hour and you can get free soda, water and beer. We met great people from the whole world. Every evening they also organized some activities - going to the bar, playing cards etc. Staff was really helpful and nice. The room was clean.

Great location, lots of ways to get into downtown. The facilities are very good and the staff were exceptional. Overall the communication and check-in process was very easy.
