If you’re looking for a place to stay in Cao Bang, stop here your search, you have found the best for the money. Possibly get a room with mountain views and private bathroom, which cost little more, but in any case they are good. The owners are lovely, they let me check in at early hours, fortunately the room was ready, and I could wash and tumble dry my clothing. Close to city centre, great cafes, and a wonderful vegan restaurant the “Lazy Bug”

The rooms are spacious, clean, cozy, and well-equipped – a perfect place to relax. The staff was amazing, especially the young woman at the reception who was always smiling and ready to help with anything I needed. From the very beginning, the manager made sure everything was taken care of: She sent me detailed directions before I arrived, connected me with a local travel agent for tours in the area, and even arranged for a staff member to escort me to the bus station when I left. A place full of heart, warm hospitality, and genuine care – it truly felt like home on the other side of the world. Highly recommended!

The guy who manages the hostel has been amazing and kind, he rented us a very good motorbike for a cheap prize and helped us giving useful information. He also drives us at the bus station and waited for us during the night for the check in because the bus was in delay. Rooms are cozy and clean, price cheap. Thanks!
