The staff here are extremely supportive and friendly whenever I need help. The first time I entered the room, I felt: oh this is one of the most spacious and comfortable hostels I have been to. The bathroom in the room is very clean, all the other equipments here are new, minimalistic and comfortable.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel for three nights, and I can't speak highly enough of the owner's incredible hospitality. He was so generous that he only charged me for two nights. Before I checked out, he even treated me to a beer and some noodles, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. On top of all that, he also kindly kept some of my belongings safe for me. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and kindness. I was truly touched by your generosity and will definitely be back!

Khai Homestay offered 5* service and hospitality. It was really excellent and if I return to Hanoi, I would definitely choose to stay there again. The person dealing with guests, Hoanh, could not have been more helpful. He replied to all emails quickly. He spoke enough English to answer questions. He was helpful, polite and kind. The accommodation is a simple establishment which suited me perfectly. Hoanh lets you know when you book that there are shared bathrooms and stairs. This may not suit everyone. I found this no problem as the bathroom is kept spotless. After people shower, it is dried and ready to use again. It is only shared between two rooms. The bed was firm and, in my opinion, very comfortable. The bedding was good too. The room is large enough for one or two people. Tissues and a power board which is suitable for different sized plugs are provided. There's a bedside lamp. The aircon is very good. The location is convenient in the Old Quarter. It's not far from the Long Bien bus stop, where the airport bus stops. It's easy for taxis to find as it's next to a temple. It was very quiet in the evenings. There is some noise in the mornings but not as much as in many places in Hanoi. It's in an alley but this feels very safe. The price is reasonable. The photos on the booking website are accurate. If you want a simple place to stay in a convenient location at a reasonable price with a great host, it's perfect for you.
