Tirana International Mother Teresa Airport is 119 km away. It is a great place if you need to rest and recharge. It's a one-room (4-bed) hostel so not a social atmosphere but I didn't really want that so it suited me well. Everything was new and so comfortable. Nice sheets, pillows and a new mattresses. The AC was great and the place was decorated with a lot of love, in a very cute way with Berat touches everywhere. You can tell someone put effort into how it looks! It felt like being at home since they offer small extra things like fresh towels and tea and coffee to have whenever you want - even a little sweet treat left on the bed for you. I also was able to check in early which was really nice of them.

Loved staying at Ana Rest house. The owners made it feel like a home rather than just a guest house! The location was amazing- near a lot of the other hostels and the house itself was very cute. Rooms were very clean as well as the common area. I especially enjoyed the terrace with the beautiful view. Hosts prepared a lovely breakfast in the morning and were always soo helpful with tips for Berat as well as teaching me some Albanian words. Would always come back and can't recommend enough!
